You can see some of Axel's original artwork in this family-friendly exhibition at the Victoria Art Gallery, including Zog and the Gruffalo.
Myths and Monsters links the worlds of literature, art and myth with some of the very best (and worst) you could expect to meet. As well as Axel's contributions, you'll also see work from Michael Foreman and Cressida Cowell as well as many others.
Alongside the exhibition, there will be a chance for young visitors to get involved by making their own ‘monster in a jar’, which will be displayed as part of the show.
